Carbontree

Carbontree.fi is a website that visualises the photosynthesis and respiration of a single tree based on a real time feed of field measurements. The site introduces the user to the different environmental factors that affect the life of the tree, and gives the user a hands on possibility to explore these factors.
The site was developed for the 100th anniversary of the The Finnish Society of Forest Science . The measurement data is provided by the SMEAR II measurement station from the Hyytiälä forestry field station.
ELMO

ELMO is a laboratory measurement system. ELMO’s server takes care of interfacing with the measurement devices in the laboratory and the measurement data management. The user interface is a web application that is used to remotely control the measurements in the laboratory. This is done with measurement scripts; i.e., Python based descriptions of how the measurement devices are controlled, what values are recorded and how they are transformed for easier interpretation of the results. One can see the results of a measurement run real time or analyse the results later.
ELMO was developed for the photosynthesis measurement laboratory at the University of Helsinki.
Yasso07

Yasso07ui is a cross platform user interface on top of the Yasso07 soil organic carbon model. This desktop application guides the user interface through data input to model run to result analysis.
